N = Nintendo consoles

I realize today that I have almost all the Nintendo Consoles.

The first one is the Nintendo from my cousin Danny.

Then I got the Nintendo 64 from my cousin Terry.

I have the Game Boy Color.

I also have the Nintendo Ds in White.

And my younger sister and I bought the Nintendo Wii.

The only console I have that isn't from Nintendo is my very first console: Game Gear <= this one is from Sega.

You are in this world to love someone. Find that someone and love them until you can’t feel anything anymore. It’s worth the pain. It’s worth the time. It’s worth giving up every piece of dignity you have. Even if it makes you look like a fool. Even if it makes you look stupid in everyone else’s eyes. Don’t ever ever ever listen to what they tell you or what they make you feel. Because in the end, we all go through the same thing. We love and hurt. We love and die. Loving is never really owning. Loving is giving everything you can and trying to give everything you cannot. You must never expect anything in return if you love. Love with all your heart and if (s)he cannot give anything in return, learn to accept that and wait for your love to fade. Never ever hope for love to vanish. Because I tell you, it won’t. When you love someone, it will never go away. It will just fade. There will always be a little piece of your heart that will yearn for him/her. You cannot make it go away. You have to accept things for what they are and what they are meant to be. Learn to let go and move on. Learn to remember the good things that you’ve shared with him/her, even if it’s not mutual. Learn to remember the way (s)he smells, the way his/her eyes look when (s)he’s happy, the way (s)he smiles, the way (s)he laughs, the way (s)he walks,

the way (s)he talks, the way (s)he says hello and the way (s)he says good bye. Don’t forget the memories just because (s)he cannot give anything in return. Look back and remember the good things because in the end it’s always the good things that matter, not the bad.

Learn to face rejection with dignity and grace. It will make you stronger.

H&M stands for Hennes en Maurits, A fashion/clothes store. It's one of my favorite stores, because they have really nice clothes and accessoires.
I like H&M more now, because they have an online store.
I always buy a lot of basic tops, t-shirts and longsleeves shirts.

Today I bought a basic black long top & a white-red striped t-shirt.

F = Full Moon

Tonight there is a full moon and stars shining in the sky. It's also really cold right now.
I don't know why, but usually I get really emotional when there's a full moon.
I find it also kind of magical when I see the full moon... believing that something special is going to happen, someday soon.

E = Etude House

I saw commercials with famous Korean actors and actrices of the Korean Cosmetic Brand Etude House. So I googled and saw that the stores are really cute. So, When I went to Singapore & Indonesia, I searched if they had shops there.. and they did... I saw 2 Etude House shops in Singapore and 2 in Indonesia. The picture above is the shop in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Ofcourse I had to buy stuff at that store. I bought all kind of stuff, like lipgloss, body lotions, a mirror and more.... the picture above are stuff that I bought in Singapore.

When I was in Jakarta, Indonesia I got free mini-lipgloss and a keychain.

And in Bandung I signed for a VIP- card of Etude House. So, when I go to Indonesia again, I have discount.

I love Etude House, because its cute and the products are really good.

D = Dreams

My biggest dream at this moment is to go traveling. I want to see Taiwan, South Korea and Japan first... later I also want to see China, Canada, Australia, America and more...

The night sky of Seoul, the capital of South Korea. I want to go to South Korea, because I saw the beautiful landscapes in Korean Drama Series and I am interested in the culture.

This is a picture of Taipei 101 in Taipei, Taiwan. Its a building with 101 floors above ground and 5 floors below the ground. One of the tallest building in the world. I want to visit that building when I am in Taipei. Why Taiwan, also because I watch Drama Series from Taiwan.

I want to go to Japan, because this year three people I know went to Japan and I saw pictures and I just really want to go there now. The land of Sushi and Anime.

But before I can go traveling, I have to find a job, so I can save money for traveling. I hope I will find a job soon.

My other dreams are: Getting married someday & have children. But the important thing is that I am going to be happy with everything I do. That I can enjoy life and have no regrets.

I love to read the magazine Cosmopolitan. I always buy the dutch and UK version.

I somehow like the UK version more than the Dutch version. It's a typical women magazine about Relationships, Fashion, Make- up and more...

B = Birthday Parties

I really love Birthday Parties, because that's when I see everyone of my family again.

We always have cake, snacks and dinner. There is a lot of food to eat. Yesterday was the Birthday Party of my uncle who turned 65. It's always crowded on birthdays, but that makes it fun. People talking, laughing and eating. It always makes me happy to be part of it.

A = Asia

5 years ago I didn't thought a lot about my culture and who I really am.
My parents are from Indonesia... and I live in Europe.. in the Netherlands....
So when my best friend lent me her drama-serie dvd; My Girl.. I became fascinated by the culture of Asia... I always thought they only made kung-fu or old legend movies... but I found out that they also make great drama-series... Series where I somehow can relate too..
So I became interested in the cultures of Asia... East Asia, I mean.. Countries like Singapore, Indonesia, China, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan.
This feeling got stronger when I went to Singapore & Indonesia this year... I felt like I was home... I always felt like I was a bit different... but I couldn't explain why... but now I do...
I want to visit more countries of Asia... So that's one of my goals in life.

Day 30 – A photograph of yourself today + three good things that have happened in the past 30 days

I can't believe that this blog challenge is over. I really enjoyed doing this blog challenge.

The three good things that have happend in the past 30 days:

* Because of this challenge I got to know myself better.. and instead of writing in my diary I wrote things in this blog.

* I finally let go of the one who made me feel like a fool for the past 2 months.

I don't know why, but I secretly hoped that he would contacted me, but now I just officially let him go... no more waiting.

* I experienced that certain things in life doesn't go as planned.. I know that I have to enjoy life as much as I can and try to make the best in every situation... I need to try not to think too much about things and just let it happen or be...

Day 29 – Something you could never get tired of doing.

I never get tired to find the perfect present for Family and Friends.
I like searching for a special and unique present to give someone.. as you can see on the photo.

Its not just Birthday presents, but also Christmas presents...
I really like to see the face of the person who gets my present(s).. Hoping that they really like what I bought for them.

Day 28 – Your favorite movies!!!

I got a lot of favorite movies. So I am going to show you a few movies that I like. While You Were Sleeping with Sandra Bullock is an old movie, but I always like to watch it again. It's an romantic comedy and I have a weakness for romantic comedy movies.

Life as a House, I watch it because Hayden Christensen plays here. The guy from Star Wars. Its a drama movie, but the acting is really good.

Just like in this movie White Oleander. this movie is pretty good, the girl Alison Lohman acts really good. and I don't know why, but this movie made an impression on me.

A Walk to Remember, I was really looking forward to this movie, because I read the book first.
So I was really excited that they made a movie out of it. And the movie is really good too.
It a bit sad, but the chemistry between Mandy Moore and Shane West is really amazing in this movie.

I have a weakness for Cinderella Stories. So when I knew they are making this movie, Me, my younger sister Nydia and my cousin Lara were really excited and couldn't wait to see this movie. So finally, the movie came in the cinema and we went there. three times XD I know we are crazy.

Twilight is based on a novel by Stephenie Meyer. I was glad that I read the book(s) first before it became a hype. And I liked it right away. I was also excited that they made a movie out of it. I had mixed feelings when I saw it first... maybe because of the way it was filmed or expectations. but I don't know. I do like the movie, but still have mixed feelings about it, can't explain it. there's also other movies out from the Twilight series: New Moon, Eclipse and next years Breaking Dawn.Just Like Heaven.. a simple, but cute romantic comedy movie... with Reese Witherspoon.. I like the movie, because of the idea of true love and that you are meant to be with someone...

Yeah... I think a lot of people love Disney movies. I have a few that I watch over and over again. like the movie Aladdin, the dutch version. I can sing along with the songs and I know the lines what the characters are going to say, I am getting nostalgic. My First Disney Movie: Beauty and the Beast. This movie is really my favorite. I am happy that they bring out the Diamond version in november. I am going to buy it right away.

Then also two Korean Movies that I like:

My Little Bride. really funny & cute korean movie. About a 15/16 years old girl who gets married with the boy she knows since she was a baby. their grandpa's arranged that they should get married. You just have to see this movie.


The last on is the korean movie: 100 days with Mr. Arrogant. Its a funny movie. Just have to see for yourself.

Ok, that was the blog of today. I know I put a lot of movies in here. Crazy, but I love watching movies!!!

Day 27 – A picture of you last year and now and how have you changed since then?

This is a picture of me from last year... getting ready to go to a 50th Birthdayparty. I have my hair curly here... but usually its straight.

This is a picture of me.. today. What has changed in a year...

Well, the colour of my hair changed.. first I had golden brown, now its mid-brown. And I lost weight. My appearance hasn't change a lot.. but from the inside I have changed..

I am one year older and wiser.. I am single again after a relationship of 3 years.. I know now, that I am stronger than I thought I was. I know that I have to accept things that are out of my control.. I am more open than I was before... I always keep things inside of me.. but now I am more open, but I am still shy when it comes to strangers.

This year is really a tough, but amazing year..

* I had the chance to go to Singapore & Indonesia.. the world has opened for me.. I met family I have never seen before...

* I dropped out of University and now I am still trying hard to find a job..

* I believe that after everything I am going through.. everything will turn out really well for me.. I just need to believe in it and hold on...

Day 26 – A photo of somewhere you’ve been to.

I couldn't choose between two photos, so I post them both on this blog.
The first photo is taken in Singapore... in front of Takashimaya Singapore Mall... We didn't go inside because in this mall, they only have expensive stores like Gucci and Cartier... and also this mall is one of many malls, they all are standing next to each other...

The second photo is taken between Cilacap and Yogyakarta (Indonesia)... this photo is taken by my cousin Eugenia Cindy.. who went with us.. to Yogya... We took a stop at a place where the view is really amazing... I really miss Singapore and Indonesia.. it was really a dream coming true... Hope I can come back someday...
